THE PASSPORT STORY

The Trusted Travel Resource I Wanted to Find.

The Passport Project grew from a love of travel, a career in hospitality and the belief that a remarkable stay must deliver more than beautiful imagery.

More Than a Traveler’s Perspective.

I'm Jada, an Atlanta based hospitality professional, travel content creator and founder of The Passport Project. My approach is informed by more than 15 years of hands on restaurant, bar and hospitality operations. Creating memorable moments, anticipation of guest needs and thoughtful service has driven my success in the service industry and offered me a unique perspective when traveling and dining.

I have worked across service, leadership, food and beverage programming, training, workflow, guest complaints, service recovery and the operational details that shape how an experience feels from arrival through departure.

Travel renewed me. Hospitality taught me what to notice.

I have always loved travel, but as work and responsibilities increased, I realized I was no longer approaching it with the same intention.

Hospitality is physically and mentally demanding. Travel became one of the ways I could step away, restore my perspective and return renewed.

I naturally gravitate toward places defined by attentive service, purposeful design and a strong sense of place. But meaningful luxury, to me, has never been defined by price or excess. It is found in the welcome, the details, the ease of an experience, the quality of the food, the attentiveness of the service and the sense that every element has a reason for being there.

Because I am equally conscious of value, I want to understand whether an experience delivers a meaningful return on a traveler’s time, trust and investment.

The Passport Project grew from that perspective: a desire to create the discerning travel resource I wanted to find and to work with hospitality brands that understand that the strongest marketing begins with an experience worth recommending.

Our Vision

A MORE INTENTIONAL STANDARD FOR TRAVEL STORYTELLING AND HOSPITALITY.

We envision The Passport Project becoming a trusted resource for intentional travelers and a respected partner for hospitality brands, destinations and tourism organizations.

As the platform grows, it will bring together writers, photographers, filmmakers, creatives and hospitality specialists who share a commitment to honest storytelling, thoughtful evaluation and exceptional guest experiences.

The long-term vision is for The Passport Standard to become a meaningful distinction—one that travelers trust and hospitality brands are proud to earn.

Principles Behind the Project

INTENTIONALITY

We choose depth over volume and purpose over constant movement. Travel is an investment in your life, not an escape from it.

DISCERNMENT

We look beyond presentation to understand how an experience actually performs. Every recommendation must earn its place.

HOSPITALITY

We believe people remember how an experience made them feel. Hospitality is remembered long after amenities are forgotten.

INTEGRITY

We disclose partnerships, protect independent judgment and refuse to confuse access with endorsement. Honest reviews build lasting trust.

RESPECT

We consider the guest, the team, the community and the environment behind every experience. Exceptional food should tell the story of its destination.

VALUE

We believe luxury and value can coexist. Luxury is defined by intention, not excess.

CURIOSITY

We travel with open minds and seek the stories, traditions, people and details that make each destination distinctive.
